We are looking for customers and business partners who are interested in participating in a Beta program for Tivoli zEnterprise Monitoring and Discovery. The Beta program provides participants with the opportunity to get an early look at this future product capability with new problem solving capabilities for the IBM zEnterprise platform and provide feedback directly to the Development team.
There will be 2 options offered to Beta program participants:
Participants can download Beta code from a web site and install it in their own test environment. This option has specific pre-reqs.
Participants can test the Beta code running in an IBM hosted Cloud environment which includes a simulated IBM zEnterprise environment. This would allow participants to test and provide feedback on the Tivoli functionality.
Participants are welcome to take advantage of either or both of the options to test the early code.
Customers and business partners are not required to have zEnterprise hardware currently installed in order to participate in testing Beta code via the IBM hosted environment. However, knowledge of zEnterprise architecture (z196 CEC, ZBX, zManager) and of the Tivoli monitoring platform is recommended.
The Beta will include communication with the Development team via web conference and web discussion forum. The Development team is eager to get feedback from customers and business partners on the enhancements in the release. Feedback will be used to validate and shape this release and also future releases of the product.
We understand that participants have primary duties to perform at their companies and many demands on their time, there is no minimum time commitment in order to participate in the Beta program.
Participant benefits of a successful Beta Program include:
The opportunity to influence this product release and future directions
The ability to validate product code and documentation to ensure compatibility
The opportunity to obtain support from Development during the Beta Program
Please contact Nate Gaffaney (email@example.com) if you would be interested in this Beta or if you have any questions. The two steps to register are to complete a form with background information and to agree to an online Beta license.
