So today we're going to talk about ITMSuper and one way you could use it, and another reason or two why you shouldn't and what's available to replace it.
Let's start with ITMSuper and Internet Explorer v10 onwards. It's possible that login window in ITMSuper might not appear when you're using IE10/11 as your browser. The way to get around this is to enable compatibility view. If you press F12, you'll see a whole lot of stuff pop up at the bottom of your screen, that's fine, you can ignore all that HTML. All we want to concentrate on is a little icon in the black toolbar, over on the right. It looks like a little picture of a monitor and a phone or table. Like this, in fact -
If you click the dropdown arrow there, you can pick a different version of IE to use instead. I have the options for IE 11, 10, 9, 8, 7 and 5. For ITMSuper you'll want to run it in IE 8 mode so pick 8 and then hit F5 to refresh the page and the login window should appear.
Now, that aside, we wouldn't recommend the use of ITMSuper anymore. It relies on IE 8 to work properly and this has been out of support for quite some time now. We've also had issues where it IS possible to crash a TEMS if lots of distributed requests are actioned at once. We would instead suggest you look at the excellent blogs and healthcheck scripts which have been created by John Alvord that can be found here -
