The IBM Champion nomination process collects and processes information about nominators (name, email) for the purpose of informing the nominee who nominated them and informing the nominator of the status of the nomination; from nominees, including business contact information; IBM ID and profile link; social media links; products and areas of expertise and interest; activities and links that support your nomination (such as blogs and articles, social media, user group membership, and speaking activity); and contact information for references who will support the nomination for evaluating nominations and selecting IBM Champions, for providing Champion benefits, for announcing Champions, for connecting Champions to opportunities, and for tracking Champion activities. Contact information will also be used to contact all nominees, nominators, and references regarding the status of the nominations and to request additional information for the selection process as needed.
