Tech Data Launches Online IBM Skills Assessment Service in India

Tech Data India is launching a new service aimed at helping students who take IBM instructor led and digital courses, evaluate their competency through pre and post training skills assessments. This new service, available online, will also help students evaluate their readiness level for certification exams.  This completely automated and engaging offering will:

• Encourage students and organizations to take up active learning and seek IBM certifications
• Provide evidence-based assessment of technical competence
• Help students plan for additional learning goals and training paths
• Measure the outcome and effectiveness of any training taken
• Gauge the student’s preparation and readiness for certification exams

This self-service is divided in 3 stages:

1. Pre-Training Assessment – Conducted before the Training delivery to measure the competency level of student and design the learning goals and training paths
2. Post-Training Assessment – Conducted after the Training delivery to measure the outcome and effectiveness of training taken
3. Pre-Certification Exam Assessment – Conducted before the cert exam to assess the student’s ability to pass the exam

The initial scope will include courses for different areas including:

1. IBM Cloud
2. IBM Analytics
3. IBM Security
4. IBM Watson
5. IBM Collaboration and Social Business
6. IBM Systems – Power and Storage

Students have access to instant results delivered on screen or in the form of reports.   This service will be available in June 2018.
