We are excited to release an enhanced cost estimator that provides you with a simplified IBM Cloud pricing experience.

Prior to this enhancement, you might have found managing your estimate to be less optimal. We listened to your feedback and delivered the first set of estimator improvements.

  • The revamped estimate details page offers an updated user experience so you can efficiently estimate your costs. Easily navigate the IBM Cloud Catalog to research and retrieve estimated pricing for IBM Cloud products. To view the estimate details page, select the Cost Estimator icon in the IBM Cloud console header.
  • In addition to downloading an estimate as a PDF, you now have the ability to download an estimate as an .XSLX (Excel) or a .CSV (comma-separated values) file to easily share estimated pricing:

This is the first in a series of additional improvements planned over the course of the coming months to make your estimation experience as seamless as possible. Check back from time-to-time to try out the new additions to the cost estimator.

Questions and feedback

Providing you with the best cost estimator is our number one goal. We are looking forward to hearing from you so we can continue optimizing and enhancing your experience. Feel free to give feedback on what we can do to further improve the experience by going to IBM Cloud – Structured Ideas or reach out to our Offering Manager on Twitter (@ketcomp).
