Uninstalling fix packs

You can roll back Jazz™ for Service Management from Version 1.1.3.0 to the previous version of Jazz for Service Management by using different modes.

About this task

You can roll back Jazz for Service Management to the previous version of Jazz for Service Management only when you updated your existing environment to Version 1.1.3.0. The procedure does not apply if you installed the Jazz for Service Management Version 1.1.2 release.

Procedure

Uninstall the fix pack by using one of the following modes:

Option	Description
Installation Manager in GUI mode	Uninstalling a fix pack by using Installation Manager GUI mode
Installation Manager in silent mode	Uninstalling fix pack by using Installation Manager silent mode

Attention: If you installed an interim fix, you must uninstall the interim fix first, and then uninstall the current version.

When you revert to the previous version of Jazz for Service Management, Installation Manager does not automatically install interim fixes. You must manually install interim fixes after you roll back.

Roll back to the previous version of the Jazz for Service Management extension for IBM® WebSphere® by using one of the following modes:

Option	Description
Installation Manager in GUI mode	Rolling back the WebSphere security extension by using Installation Manager GUI mode
Installation Manager in silent mode	Rolling back the WebSphere security extension by using Installation Manager silent mode
