Error description

IBM HTTP Server 7.0.0.9
The problem is that the Software Developer's Kit ( SDK )
returned LDAP_NO_SUCH_ATTRIBUTE instead of
LDAP_COMPARE_TRUE/LDAP_COMPARE_FALSE as expected by
mod_authnz_ldap. Only the latter case triggers sub-group
processing.

Additionally, caching was disabled when mod_ldap were present
in a VirtualHost

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Errors in the IHS LDAP module           *
*                      lead to nested group authz              *
*                      failures with a "no such attribute"     *
*                      error as well as a failure to cache     *
*                      in VirtualHosts.                        *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Apply this fix if the LDAP schma causes     *
*                  IHS to report "no such attribute" while     *
*                  querying subgroups or if the LDAP cache is  *
*                  not used in a VirtualHost context.          *
****************************************************************
IBM HTTP Server expects searches for the configured
AuthLDAPSubGroupAttribute to return "true" or "false", but if
the LDAP schema does not define this attribute as valid for a
group entry, "LDAP_NO_SUCH_ATTRIBUTE" is returned and ends
sub-groups processing.

Additionally, caching was disabled in a virtual host that
happened to have mod_ldap (not mod_authnz_ldap) directives.

Problem conclusion

The logic was updated to treat "LDAP_NO_SUCH_ATTRIBUTE" as a
false comparison result, to continue nested subgroup processing.

This fix is targetted for IBM HTTP Server Fix pack 7.0.0.13
(not applicable to other releases)
