Multi-target replication configuration
The prerequisites to configure a multi-target replication environment are:
▪Have at least 1 port with a replication type equal to "Metro Mirror" or "Global Mirror" for target 1.
▪Have at least 1 port with a replication type equal to "Metro Mirror" or "Global Mirror" for target 2.
▪Have at least 1 data space with replication types matching what is defined in the "Adapters" panel.
Note: The possible combinations for multi-target replication are:
▪Metro Mirror for both targets
▪Global Mirror for both targets
▪Metro Mirror for target 1 and Global Mirror for target 2
▪Global Mirror for target 1 and Metro Mirror for target 2
