Troubleshooting Incorrect Operator Pod Error during Install of Watson Knowledge Studio 1.2.0

Troubleshooting

Problem

Error upon execution of install command during installation of Watson Knowledge Studio 1.2.0:
./cpd-cli adm --repo repo.yaml --assembly watson-ks  --arch x86_64 --namespace zen --apply

Symptom

Error details:
[ERROR] [2021-08-16 10:26:51-0927] Failed to check operator pod, err=Unexpected SCC edb-operator-scc assigned to the operator pod. Please make sure it is cpd-zensys-scc with the proper priority value

Cause

The cpd-install-operator has the wrong SCC assigned.

Environment

Watson Knowledge Studio 1.2.0 on Cloud Pak for Data 3.5.6 with OpenShift 3.11

Diagnosing The Problem

Error message upon execution of install command.  Checking cpd-install-operator to confirm the wrong SCC was assigned.

Resolving The Problem

Use the command "oc edit pod" on the cpd-install-operator pod to change the SCC from edb-operator-scc to cpd-zensys-scc.  However, this value resets itself back immediately.

Next, change the priority of cpd-zensys-scc to 20 and then restart the cpd-operator pod.

This should address the error and allow install to proceed without error.
