System Requirements for IBM Maximo Spatial Asset Management

Abstract

Review the system requirements before you install IBM® Maximo® Spatial Asset Management.

Version 9.1.x

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 9.1.x to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 9.1.x.
  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise for enterprise deployment, versions 10.9.1, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, and 11.5.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise requirements page.
  • ArcGIS Enterprise must be installed and configured with its core components, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Data Store, to enable full functionality. These components are required to support web maps, user and identity management, and advanced GIS capabilities used by Maximo Spatial.
    Although ArcGIS Server service endpoints such as FeatureServer and MapServer can be accessed independently, a standalone ArcGIS Server deployment is not supported and must not be used for Maximo Spatial implementations. Maximo Spatial requires a full ArcGIS Enterprise deployment to ensure proper integration and support.
  • IBM Maximo Spatial also supports the use of maps and services hosted in ArcGIS Online through ArcGIS REST services and Web Maps, in accordance with the capabilities provided by the ArcGIS platform.
 

Version 9.0.x

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 9.0.x to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 9.0.x.
  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10.9.1, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, and 11.5.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.
 

Version 8.7.x

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.11.x to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.7.x.
  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, and 11.3.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.

 

Version 8.6.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.10 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.6.0. 

  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, and 11.0.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.

 

Version 8.5.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.9.0 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.5.0.

Version 8.4.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.8.0 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.4.0. 

  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.

Version 8.3.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.7.0 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.3.0. 

  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.

Version 8.2.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.6.0 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.2.0.

Version 8.1.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.5.0 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.1.0. 

  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.

Version 8.0.0

  • You must have Maximo Application Suite 8.4.0 to use Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 8.0.0. 

  • Maximo Spatial Asset Management integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Server for enterprise deployment, versions 10, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8.  For requirements information, see the ESRI ArcGIS Server requirements page.

DEPRECATED VERSIONS

Versions listed as Deprecated are maintained for reference purposes only and are not recommended for new implementations.
IBM’s strategic direction is focused on Maximo Application Suite (MAS), which provides enhanced scalability, modern architecture, and more support for ArcGIS Enterprise integration.
 

Version 7.6.1.1

  • You must have Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.3 installed on the server where you want to install Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 7.6.1.1.  Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 7.6.1.1 has the same requirements as Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.3. Version 7.6.1

  • You must have Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.2 installed on the server where you want to install Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 7.6.1.  Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 7.6.1 has the same requirements as Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.2.   • You must have Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.1 installed on the server where you want to install Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 7.6.0.5.  Maximo Spatial Asset Management version 7.6.0.5 has the same requirements as Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.1.  You must also install Maximo Spatial 7.6.0.0 on the Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.1 server before you can install Maximo Spatial 7.6.0.5.
