This article describes the most common issues you might encounter when using SPSS Statistics Subscription and SPSS Statistics Trial (which is based on SPSS Statistics Subscription). Most items will also apply to Watson Studio Desktop (formerly known as SPSS Modeler Subscription).

SPSS Subscription general issues
- "License verification failed. Ensure you have internet access and click Retry.
If you already have internet access, the SPSS License Server may need to be allowlisted from your corporate firewall. Refer to your firewall documentation or contact your system administrator and add the follow URL to allowlist: https://spsssub.ibm.com/licsrv. For other cases refer to this link for more information
