Problem
RTM reports job
Mem Request, Mem Reserved in wrong unit. GB becomes MB, MB becomes KB.Symptom
The command
bjobs output shows Requested Resources <rusage[mem=400.00]>, which is in MB.
RTM job details show Mem Reserved = 400K
Resolving The Problem
There are two options:
1) apply Fix Pack 1 (rtm-10.1-build413549), preferred
The readme file lists the Fixes. For this issue, it says:
"Fix for the request/reserve memory when LSF_UNIT_FOR_LIMITS is not set in the LSF cluster."You can also install the latest Fix Pack available from Fix Central, since FP is cumulative.
Or
2) quick fix
Add in lsf.conf
LSF_UNIT_FOR_LIMITS=MB
Then on LSF management node, run
lsadmin reconfig
