NOTICE:

Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels.  This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs.  By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the
foregoing.

This PTF is subject to the terms of the license agreement which
accompanied, or was contained in, the Program for which you are obtaining
the PTF.  You are not authorized to install or use the PTF except as part
of a Program for which you have a valid Proof of Entitlement.

Special Instructions

After applying or removing the PTF, if device descriptions for one or
more 4767 or 4769 Cryptographic Co-processors are varied on, vary them
off and then back on using either the Vary Configuration (VFYCFG) or
the Work with Configuration Status (WRKCFGSTS) CL commands.

If no device descriptions for a 4767 or 4769 Co-processor are varied
on, no descriptions for a 4767 or 4769 Co-processor exist, or no 4767
or 4769 Co-processors are installed, nothing further needs to be done.

Important Notice:  The upgraded firmware level for the 4769
cryptographic co-processor introduces a behavior change such that if a
soft re-initialization of the adapter is requested via CSUACFC using
rule array keyword RQ-REINT, administrative functions that aren't coded
for dual control mode will cease to function properly.  A call to
re-initialize the adapter will reset the single control flow switch
that is enabled by default on "VARY ON" of the adapter.  To return the
device to single control mode, the device will need to be varied off
and back on.  Prior to installing this PTF, customers should verify
that their programs are not performing this action.

Default Instructions

THIS PTF CAN BE APPLIED IMMEDIATE OR DELAYED.
