Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs. By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the
foregoing.
This PTF is subject to the terms of the license agreement which
accompanied, or was contained in, the Program for which you are obtaining
the PTF. You are not authorized to install or use the PTF except as part
of a Program for which you have a valid Proof of Entitlement.

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

IBM i NetServer jobs will, on rare occasion, take an extended
period of time to end. The QZLSSERVER job and QZLSFILE jobs may
remain in END status and cannot be terminated by the user until
they complete processing.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE77401' :
-------------------------------
A timing window exists where multiple IBM i NetServer jobs may
attempt to clean up internal resources at the same time. The
jobs compete for resources and lose communication with each
other.
This PTF changes the IBM i NetServer end ordering and processing
to correct the problem.

ENDTCPSVR *NETSVR before applying or removing the PTF.
STRTCPSVR *NETSVR before applying or removing the PTF.
If this system is part of an IBM i Cluster Administrative Domain then
the following steps should be performed:
1) Before the PTF is applied clustering should be ended on the system
using the ENDCLUNOD command.
2) After the PTF is applied clustering should be started on the system
using the STRCLUNOD command.
