Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs. By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the
foregoing.
This PTF is subject to the terms of the license agreement which
accompanied, or was contained in, the Program for which you are obtaining
the PTF. You are not authorized to install or use the PTF except as part
of a Program for which you have a valid Proof of Entitlement.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO FOLLOW THAT SPECIAL INSTRUCTION AGAIN.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI75846 :
=================================================
After applying or removing this PTF, Collection Services must be
ended and restarted for the change to take effect.
1. To end Collection Services, run the following command from the
command line:
ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*YES)
2. To restart Collection Services, run the following command from the
command line:
STRPFRCOL
Before restarting Collection Services, you should consider other
functions that may be using data provided by Collection Services.
Such functions may be impacted when Collection Services is ended. Error
messages may be produced and the affected functions may need to be
restarted.
Examples of functions that are dependent on Collection Services include
Management Central monitors and applications that use the performance
collector APIs QPMWKCOL and QPMLPFRD. If applications are using the
performance collector APIs, you will find server jobs QPMASERV and
QPMACLCT active on your system.

job (QYPSPFRCOL) must be ended and restarted for the change to take
effect.
1. To end Collection Services enter the following on the command
line:
ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*YES)
2. To start Collection Services enter the following on the command
line:
STRPFRCOL
Before restarting Collection Services, you should consider other

Note: Make sure that jobs QPMACLCT and QPMASERV are no longer
running.
2. End Collection Services by entering the following on the command
line:
ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*YES)
3. Rebuild the collection table:
CALL QPMCCRBD PARM('*ALL ' x'00000000' '<Name of configured
collection library>')
The first parameter, *ALL, must have a length of 10 characters (pad the
end with blanks).
The third parameter, the name of the configured collection library,
must also have a length of 10 characters (pad the end with blanks).
The name of the configured collection library can be displayed by
running the command CFGPFRCOL and hitting F4.
4. Restart Collection Services by entering the following on the
command line:
STRPFRCOL
5. Restart any applications using the performance collector APIs
QPMWKCOL and QPMLPFRD.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI65164 :

After applying or removing this PTF, Collection Services and any
applications that use the performance collector APIs QPMWKCOL and
QPMLPFRD must be ended and then restarted for the change to take
effect.
1. End any applications using the performance collector APIs QPMWKCOL
and QPMLPFRD.
Note: Make sure that jobs QPMACLCT and QPMASERV are no longer
running.
2. End Collection Services by entering the following on the command
line:

3. Restart Collection Services by entering the following on the
command line:
STRPFRCOL
4. Restart any applications using the performance collector APIs
QPMWKCOL and QPMLPFRD.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI60031 :

After applying or removing this PTF the Management Central server job
(QYPSJSVR) must be ended and restarted for the change to take effect.
1. To end the Management Central server job, enter the following on
the command line:
ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*MGTC)
2. To start the Management Central server job, enter the following
on the command line:
STRTCPSVR SERVER(*MGTC)
