use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

After adding an IASP, customer has noticed a significant
degradation in DROP PROCEDURE time in a long running SQL script.
The procedures are located in a library in *SYSBAS.
CORRECTION FOR APAR SE71548 :
-----------------------------
SQL procedures created in an iASP are tracked in both the
*SYSBAS cross reference and the IASP cross reference. The
update of the iASP cross reference when dropping a procedure in
*SYSBAS is modified to use an index to improve performance.
CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE71548 :

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE72196 :

After adding an IASP, customer has noticed a significant

They are not creating database objects in the IASP, they are in
*SYSBAS.
