The PTF delivers some improvements on IBM Navigator for i.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE67969' :
-------------------------------
1.IBM Navigator for i now includes a listing of IBM i SQL
Services.  This list can be accessed under the System node in
the navigation area. You can also run sample SQL for each
service by launching to the ACS Run SQL window.

2.IBM Navigator for i now includes the ability to create and
change a job queue.  These tasks are available from the job
queue lists, and also from the All Tasks node under Work
Management, as well as from the search area.

3.IBM Navigator for i now includes the ability to create and
change subsystem descriptions, create and change a class from
All Tasks node under Work Management, as well as from the search
area. It also includes the ability to create a class when adding
a new routing entry for subsystem description.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE67700' :

The IMPORT function of AFP Manager in IBM Navigator for i does
not allow to BROWSE PC directories for the file to import. After
creating a .OVL, .PSG or .PRN file using the AFP Print Driver on
the PC to create an overlay, page segment or other AFP
resources, one can use AFP Manager in IBM Navigator for i to
import the resource from the PC. The BROWSE option only allows
browsing IFS directories, not PC directories.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE67700' :

The Import AFP resource function in IBM Navigator for i will be
updated to support browsing AFP resources on the user's PC,
which is how the Import function worked in System i Navigator.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE67063' :

Accessing DISK STATUS within IBM Navigator for i reports
"Software Error" "Please contact IBM if the error continues"

Messages.log logs java.lang.NullPointerException and
java.lang.IllegalStateException: The following session is not
valid!

A change will be made to IBM Navigator for i to display the Disk
Status list correctly for this specific case.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE68010' :
-------------------------------------------------
When customer logs into IBM Navigator for i, expands Databases
in left-pane and then expands Databases again nothing is showed
on the left-pane. The right-pane does contain the databases.
When this occurs WRKFCNUSG on the IBM i does not have the
QIBM_XD1_OPNAV_DBLIBS entry registered. In most cases
QIBM_XD1_OPNAV_xxxxxx entries are not there at all.
Fix will allow access when the Function has not been registered.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE68010' :

Changes will be made to IBM Navigator for i to allow access to
functions if the function has NOT been registered on the IBM yet
via Application Administration.  Administrators should, however,
use Application Administration to set the desired access for
their users.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE67650' :

Unable to update the Authorization List option for PUBLIC
Authority in IBM Navigator for i.

The reported problem is fixed in this PTF. The Authorization
List option for PUBLIC Authority can be checked if the
Authorization list type is not equal to "(None)".

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE68031' :

When logged into IBM Navigator for i, if you click the Disk
Units, you get prompted for a User ID and Password for Service
Tools. After putting in those credentials and hitting enter the
fields, there is no response. However the same SST user profile
can log in via green screen.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE68031' :

The reported problem has been fixed in this PTF. Now the length
of the SST user profile is changed to be no longer than ten, in
place of eight.

In IBM Navigator for i when using STRRCYBRM in BRMS Enterprise
application it's missing ASP Prompts for multiple entries.

Changes will be made to IBM Navigator for i command prompting so
that the prompting for STRRCYBRM works correctly when using
including multiple ASPs.

The customers created one message monitor in IBM Navigator for i
connecting to a Japanese system. The message monitor failed to
start with the "starting" status.

The code has been updated to fix the problem that the message
monitor can not be started on Japanese systems.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE66563' :

When using Index Advisor in IBM Navigator for i, a filter
selection for "Average of Query Estimates Greater than or equal
to 0.001", the results still contain records that have values of
0.000.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE66563' :
-------------------------------
IBM Navigator for i has been updated to fix this problem.  The
"Average of Query Estimates" column will now show the full four
decimal places for the value, and filtering of the column will
now work as expected.

When a system is set as "Administration system" and try to
access "Central Settings" with Application Administration.
Nothing happens.....

com.ibm.ui.framework.TaskDefinitionException: The data element
'APPLICATIONS_INAV_PANEL' could not be found.

This problem will be fixed so that the selected Application
Administration panel will be shown correctly.

When launching the DHCP Monitor from the IBM Navigator for i,
the screen flashes and go back to the panel TCP/IP server. No
error is given. The profile running the monitor needs *IOSYSCFG
authority which it does have through it's associated group
profile.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE68242' :

The reported problem is fixed in this PTF. Now the user's group
authority can be checked when performing the function DHCP
Monitor.
