APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
For an instance that resides in an Independent ASP (IASP), an
error is received for any attempt to use IBM Navigator for i to
create a directory or output queue monitor definition with the
option to start the monitor when a subsystem starts.  The error
message text is:

Add, change, or delete directory monitor failed. To determine
the cause of the failure, check the IBM i log file named
message.log located in the
/QIBM/UserData/OS/ADMININST/admin2/wlp/usr/servers/admin2/logs
directory.

A related informational message appears in the job log of the
QZRCSRVS job serving the Navigator connection:

CPF1622 Job description XXX created but warnings exist.

The user is forced to cancel out of the create attempt, but the
monitor definition will actually be created, and will show up in
the list of monitors for the instance despite the error message.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE67202 :
-----------------------------
When a monitor definition is created with the option to start
when a subsystem starts, the job serving the Navigator for i
connection implicitly creates an associated job description in
the instance library.  If the instance library resides in an
IASP, informational message CPF1622 is sent in that job.  The
navigator incorrectly interprets this as an error, and sends an
error message that the monitor could not be created.  This fix
allows the monitor definition to be created without an error
message in this case.  Note that the ASP group name for the
subsystem description that is chosen for the monitor must
contain the instance library in order for monitor jobs to start
successfully.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE67202 :
