APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
When issuing an ADDCADMRE for a user profile from a node in the
cluster, the target nodes where the user profile does not exist
may fail with MSGCPD221E which complains about "The MAXSTG and
MAXSTGLRG parameters cannot be specified together."

There is an underlying issue which was identified in admin
domain code where during the ADDCADMRE if the profile does not
exist on the target node, Admin Domain will try to create the
profile using CRTUSRPRF command, specifying either MAXSTG or
MAXSTGLRG only. However, if that CRTUSRPRF failed because a
current UID specified as part of the command is already being
used by another profile on the target node, then a second
CRTUSRPRF is issued using UID(*GEN) instead, but the code now
mistakenly populates both MAXSTG and MAXSTGLRG specified in the
command string.

Code is being enhanced to handle this appropriately and prevent
the MSGCPD221E.

Work around:
Remove the currently Inconsistent MRE from admin domain. On the
desired source node, change the user profile's UID to some
unique UID not being used by any profile on any node in the
cluster. Next add the MRE back into admin domain and it should
successfully be able to CRTUSRPRF on the targets with the new
unique UID and the MRE should end up in a Consistent status.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE66615 :
-----------------------------
The user profile object handler is corrected to not specify both
MAXSTG and MAXSTGLRG when retrying the creating of the profile.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE66615 :
--------------------------------
None.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE66766 :
-----------------------------------------------
Using WRKCADMRE may result in a CPF3C74 message due to the Admin
Domain MAP and RES indexes not having the same number of
entries. WRKCLU using option 8, option 7 may also have the
problem.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE66766 :
-----------------------------
The problem fixed is the admin domain join code was not
correctly handling the case of the joiner having a resource key
that the cluster did not, and that key was the last key.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE66766 :
--------------------------------
None.

Activation Instructions

None.

Special Instructions

To activate these fixes, on each node in the cluster, end clustering,
apply the fix, and
then start clustering.  It is not necessary to update all nodes at the
same time,
however, any node without the fix will continue to be a potential
source of the problem.

If you have had the reported problem with WRKCADMRE or displaying Admin
Domain Monitored
Resource Entries (MREs) with WRKCLU, or are unsure that you have the
problem, then it is
recommended that you activate the fixes by:
1.  End clustering on each node in the cluster.
2.  Apply this fix if not already applied.
3.  Run "CALL PGM(QSYS/QCSTADFIX)" on each node.
4.  Start clustering on each cluster node.

Default Instructions
