APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
When issuing WRKCFGSTS to look at the status of an IASP, Failed
shows as the reporting status. However DSPASPSTS shows the IASP
as Available, but the last steps performed show as if a vary off
was issued.

Code is being created to add some new function which will log
the job that issues a Vary On or Vary Off command of an IASP
device and place it in the DSPASPSTS output.

This will help chase down root causes more quickly and decide if
the Vary command was warranted or if something else needs to be
resolved elsewhere.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE66134 :
-----------------------------
The OS code was changed to include the date/time as well as the
job that requested the vary on or off of an IASP in the
DSPASPSTS panel.
This was added to help customers track who has been issuing IASP
vary requests.

There will be two additional lines in the vary progress steps,
one at the beginning and one at the end.
The line at the beginning will indicate who requested the vary
and the time it started.
The line at the end will indicate what time the vary finished
at.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE66134 :
--------------------------------
None.

Activation Instructions

None.
