APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
In a PowerHA mirroring type of environment with a Flashcopy
involved, the flashcopy target node may see messages MSGCPD000D
and MSGCPF3698 hourly from the time the CRG job starts until it
is ended only on the flashcopy target node. Along with the
messages, there are dumps generated and might be seen in the
spool files associated with the CRG job. It is believed that
this is occurring because the flashcopy target node is a member
of the cluster and device domain and is aware of the CRG
associated with the mirror environment but flashcopy
configuration does not require it to be a member of that
mirroring CRG recovery domain.

Work Around:
Add the flashcopy target node to the mirroring CRG recovery
domain as a type of *REPLICATE.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE57428 :
-----------------------------
Cluster nodes not in the CRG recovery domain will no longer
incorrectly receive a message.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE57428 :
--------------------------------
None.

Activation Instructions

None.

Special Instructions

On each node in the cluster, end clustering, apply the fix, and then
start clustering. It is not necessary to update all nodes at the same
time, however, any node without the fix will continue to be a potential
source of the problem.

Default Instructions

THIS PTF CAN BE APPLIED IMMEDIATE OR DELAYED.
