APAR Error Description / Circumvention

RSTOBJ from a multi-volume backup tape set fails to locate the
object on the volume. DSPTAP confirms the object is at the
sequence number used with the RSTOBJ command.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE54502 :
-----------------------------
Change will be made to validate the media definition has
provided a corresponding starting position in the tape file for
each volumes used for the restore. All volumes must have a
starting position provided, otherwise all will be defaulted to
search from the beginning of the tape file.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE54502 :
--------------------------------
Disable the use of "fast media positioning" support prior to the
restore. For BRMS this is done by creating a data area with the
following command:
CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QTEMP/Q1ANSTRPSN) TYPE(*CHAR)
