APAR Error Description / Circumvention
-------------------------------------------------
LPR RMTSYS('::1') fails with a MSGTCP370A "Cannot resolve host
name ::1.". PING RMTSYS('::1') works.
::1 is the IPv6 loopback address.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE51300' :
-------------------------------
LPR was setting the AI_ADDRCONFIG flag when calling
getaddrinfo(). This flag will now be turned off for numeric
addresses.
CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR 'SE51300' :
----------------------------------
Use RMTSYS(LOCALHOST) instead of a numeric loopback address.
DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE51301' :
-------------------------------------------------
A writer transform exit program is written to add data to the
beginning and end of a DEVTYPE(*USERASCII) spooled file. That
data added to the beginning is being sent, but the data added
under option 40, End of File, is not being sent. the exit
program is being called from a remote output queue, which uses
LPR.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE51301' :
-------------------------------
SNDTCPSPLF (LPR) was discarding the Option 40 data returned by
the User Data Transform program if the transform reports that
the spooled file is already in final form (as it is for
*USERASCII.)
CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR 'SE51301' :
