APAR Error Description / Circumvention

Four PPP dial profiles are configured to use a line pool
(*LINEPOOL). The line pool contains four PPP lines. However,
only one of the PPP lines in the line pool is available for use
at a time, which means that only one of the PPP dial profiles
using the line pool can be active at one time. All of the PPP
lines in the line pool should be available for use at the same
time.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE50633 :
-----------------------------
This fix allows all of the PPP lines in a line pool to be
available for use at the same time.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE50633 :
--------------------------------
Change the configuration of the PPP dial profiles so each dial
profile uses a single PPP line rather than a line pool.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI38744 :
=================================================

1) End all Point-to-point connection profiles (ENDTCPPTP *ALL).
2) End the QTPPPCTL job.

The QTPPPCTL job will start automatically when a Point-to-point
connection profile is started (STRTCPPTP).
