APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
One or more tape devices do not report in under an operational
virtual SCSI client adapter (type 290A), with no other external
symptoms. The client adapter is properly configured to be
associated with a server adapter in either an IBM i or VIOS
partition and the server adapter has been correctly configured
to export virtual tape logical units to the client.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA48274 :
-----------------------------
An uninitialized variable in an internal object prevented the
client adapter driver from completing the virtual tape unit
start up process and creating a tape device driver. The client
adapter driver will change to correctly initialize the variable
during object construction.
