use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

When migrating from one Hyperswap Secondary to another without
an IPL, there is a recommended sequence to follow. Several
issues were found while testing other possible sequences and by
fixing these, we can improve the robustness of the design and
avoid inadvertent problems customers might hit if they don't
follow the recommendation. For the most part, the problems
encountered put the hyperswap manager in a invalid state that
required an IPL for recovery.
CORRECTION FOR APAR MA47871 :

Fixes now allow migration from one Hyperswap Secondary to
another without an IPL even when the recommended reconfiguration
sequence is not strictly followed.
