APAR Error Description / Circumvention

SQL Error occurs using UNION. Using UNION ALL return a
successful
result set (no error). This is repeatable. The application fails
with MCH3203

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA47334 :
-----------------------------
When dealing with the complex query tree, the query optimizer
incorrectly builds internal query structures that cause
unexpected inconsistencies when analyzing the query tree.  The
errors trace shows a StatDad matching error.
