APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
Running the skguard advanced analysis macro obtains an exclusive
lock while listing SkGuards which prevents any jobs from
creating new SkGuards. This could cause some Communications or
Database jobs to hang until the lock is released.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA47055 :
-----------------------------
The skguard macro may be necessary for problem determination by
IBM support. If there are a very large number of LIC SkGuard
objects, the skguard macro in some cases may run for more than
an hour due to excessive page faulting. The -list option can
safely run without an exclusive lock, so the lock has been
removed. This will prevent the skguard macro from blocking other
jobs.
