IPL may cause the IPL to fail with SRC B6000403.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA46149 :

IPL will no longer cause the IPL to fail.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF MF57271 :

Potentially affected access paths can be identified by either of the
following methods:

(1) Running the following SQL statement:

SELECT TABLE_SCHEMA, TABLE_NAME, TABLE_PARTITION, INDEX_NAME,
INDEX_TYPE, INDEX_SCHEMA, MAXIMUM_KEY_LENGTH, MAINTENANCE,
ACCPTH_TYPE, LOGICAL_PAGE_SIZE
FROM qsys2.syspartitionindexes WHERE maximum_key_length >= 1014

If you wish to save the result:

Note that this will run quite a long time as each physical file
and
logical file on the system is touched.  Also, only the files that
"own" the access path will be returned.

Or,

(2) Running the DSPFD command against each keyed physical or logical
file and looking at the "Maximum Key Length" field.  Any access
path
with a maximum key length of 1014 or greater is potentially
affected.

ALL POTENTIALLY AFFECTED ACCESS PATHS SHOULD BE REBUILT.  The
following
text describes how to rebuild access paths:

For a physical or logical file with an Access Path
Maintenance of "*REBLD", simply close the file (for
all jobs that have opened the file).

To rebuild logical file access paths, run the CHGLF
command with the FRCRBDAP(*YES) parameter.

To rebuild keyed physical file access paths, run the CHGPF
command with the MAINT(*REBLD) parameter, then run the
CHGPF command again with the MAINT(*IMMED) or MAINT(*DLY)
parameter (depending on which mode it was in originally).

For unique keyed physical files, the above CHGPF commands
are not legal.  In this case, run the CHGPF command
with the parameter ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX4GB) and again with the
parameter ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX1TB).  This will copy the physical
file and rebuild the access path, for each of the two CHGPF
commands.

When a physical file access path is shared, all files that
share the access path have to be fixed at the same time, or
the access path will not be rebuilt.  All shared logical
file members must be changed to MAINT(*REBLD) or deleted
and all physical files must be changed to MAINT(*REBLD),
as described above.  Then all the files can be changed
back to MAINT(*IMMED) or MAINT(*DLY) and/or restored.
When the CHGPF command is run with the ACCPTHSIZ
parameter, the access path will be rebuilt regardless of
sharing.

To preserve the same access path sharing, the files that
actually own the access paths should be rebuilt/restored
first.  This can be determined by the "File owning access
path" field generated by the DSPFD command.

If the index is related to a UNIQUE or REFERENTIAL
constraint, the constraint must be removed and added again.
When dropping a UNIQUE constraint use the RVMCST(*KEEP)
parameter to avoid dropping all dependent foreign keys.
This option will leave the foreign key in a defined state
and allow the foreign key constraint to be re-established
when the unique constraint is added again.
