APAR Error Description / Circumvention

In this actual environment there are normally 16 paths to each
LUN on the V7000. 4 of them active and 12 passive.
After disabling V7000 on Site 1, the IO rate fails over to Site
2.
After failover 4 active paths were expected (different paths
than before the failover), 4 passive paths and 8 failed paths to
each LUN.
However, there are only two active paths, 6 passive paths and 8
failed paths to each LUN.
Then after disabling the currently active ports, IBM i again
established 4 active paths, 4 passive paths and 8 failed paths.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA46261 :

It looks like we failed over from node 1 to node 2 initially and
that went ok, but then when we lost the connections to node 2 we
only failed over to two paths on node 3.  A change will be made
to insure we activate all paths on the node we are failing over
to.
