Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs. By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the
foregoing.
This PTF is subject to the terms of the 'IBM License Agreement for Machine
Code', the terms of which were provided in a printed document that was
delivered with the machine.

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

When an iASP is varied on and the owning user profile of an
object on the iASP does not exist on the system (or exists with
a different UID or GID) there is a chance the create of the
owning user profile will fail and cause the vary on of the iASP
to fail with a CPF2202.
Work around: Continue to issue vary off and on commands until
all profiles eventually get created. This might not be practical
if there are many profile create failures.
Best practice: Ensure that all user profiles that own objects in
the iASP are sync'd to target nodes before any switch and/or
flash and vary on activity occurs.
CORRECTION FOR APAR MA45725 :

The CPF2202 and user profile creation failure will no longer
occur when an iASP is varied on.
