use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

The Delete File (DLTF) command failed on a save file with:
MSGMCH1668 F/#lddesds T/QDFDDF System object ... damaged
MSGCPF8145 F/QRCPDMGN T/QDFDDF Partial damage on data portion of
save file
MSGCPF9999
The damage was the result of a permanent disk I/O error in the
base segment of the save file data.
CORRECTION FOR APAR MA45468 :
-----------------------------
The code will be updated to delete the save file object and the
base segment of the save file data. Some data segments may not
be deleted. The presence of data segments that are not deleted
will be indicated by the following vlogs:
VL03010213 Damage encountered by #lddedds
VL04000000 Tolerance by #lddedds
To delete these remaining data segments, IPL and then run either
Reclaim Storage (RCLSTG) or Retrieve Disk Information
(RTVDSKINF).
