APAR Error Description / Circumvention

In very rare circumstances when two or more STRCLUNOD commands
are issued at nearly the identical time, it cause an issue which
results in a hang within the cluster. From that point forward,
nodes may not end or start.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA45052 :

The timing condition causing the problem is fixed.

Special Instructions


On each node in the cluster, end clustering, apply the fix, and then
start clustering.  It is not necessary to update all nodes at the same
time, however, any node without the fix will continue to be a potential
source of the problem.
