including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

When an internal connection (IPCF) closes unexpectedly, and
internal IO structure is cleaned up. The IO task that uses the
structure fails when trying to reference that structure. The IO
task failure prevents IOs from completing, and can eventually
lead to a system hang. Fix will be to prevent task failure when
connection closes unexpectedly.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA44284 :
-----------------------------
IOA manager will change the device concurrent maintenance
response processing to accommodate the case when the IPCF
connection might have closed. The concurrent maintenance command
will be failed back. IOA manager's task will stay up to process
future requests.
