APAR Error Description / Circumvention

The tape media library resource name for a D/T7600 may change
during a system IPL or an IPL of the virtual IOP. The problem
occurs when the ProtecTier library is configured to have two or
more control paths that are mapped to the same system fibre
port, and the Logical Unit Number (LUN) is not the same value.
The sys tem does not check for a LUN number mismatch when
choosing which of the control paths should be configured as the
tape library, and when a different path configures, the resource
name changes.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA44152 :
-----------------------------
Apply this fix to prevent the path selection from causing a
resource name change.  Once applied, the first resource in the
system resource table will always be used. This means that after
the PTF is applied, there may be one last name change observed
if the currently reporting resource is not the first one in the
list.
