Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

The tape command and response wait times for Collection Services
are not updated if there is no tape activity. This causes zero
wait times for several intervals and then a very large wait time
once tape activity resumes.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'MA43557' :
-------------------------------
The tape code has been changed to update the tape command and
response times when the tape measurements are retrieved so the
performance number will be more accurate.
