APAR Error Description / Circumvention

After IPL, the system may indicate the wrong number of DS8000
disk paths. The symptom seen on the system is CPI096E messages
in the QSYSOPR message queue indicating more active disk paths
than the actual number.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43522 :

A V7R2M0 PTF will be created to correct this problem.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA43544 :

The Display Disk Path Status panel may show incorrect values for
the path status. This problem occurs on DS8000 disk devices. The
Display Disk Path panel is available under the strsst command.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43544 :

A V7R2M0 PTF will be created to correct this problem.
