IBM Security Guardium Hardware Appliance Support Lifecycle

Product Lifecycle


Abstract

The Support Lifecycle for the IBM Guardium portfolio of products is outlined below. Guardium Support will accept support requests from current Subscription & Support customers, on any version, release of Guardium that has not reached end of support. Defect corrections will be made available on the most current modification level for that release.

The IBM Security Guardium Hardware Appliance Support Lifecycle is as follows:

Appliance Hardware Support

Guardium appliances adhere to the Standard appliance lifecycle, and will be available for five (5) years from the end of marketing (EOM) date.  Full details regarding Guardium appliance support are documented in the IBM Appliance Support Guide here.
End of Support (EOS) is the time after which no further Remote or On-Site hardware support is available. Customers may continue to use the Appliance (Hardware & Software); however, IBM will not accept either software or hardware support requests. It is recommended that customers be aware of their Guardium Appliance End of Support dates.


Software Support

Guardium software adheres to the Enhanced (5+3) Lifecycle for versions prior to 11.x, Versions 11.x adheres to the Continuous Delivery (CD) Lifecycle. and Version 12.x adheres to Support Cycle-2. Guardium software release end of support dates can be found here.

It is recommended that customers subscribe to ' My Notifications ' to receive daily or weekly notifications of technical support information such as downloads, tips, technical notes, and publications.
