Removing the PCI riser card
To remove the PCI riser card assembly:
- Remove the top cover:
- Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
- Press the cover-release button.
- Slide the cover back approximately one half inch.
- Lift the cover off of the server, and set it aside.
- Grasp the PCI riser card assembly at the front grip point and rear edges. Lift it straight up, and remove it from the server.
- Disconnect any cables from the adapters in the PCI riser card assembly, and set it aside
