Optional PCI riser installation
To install the Optional PCI riser card, follow these steps:
- If necessary, remove the new expansion riser from the antistatic package.
- Carefully align the expansion riser hole with its male counterpart on the system board and lower it down until the riser rests flatly on the system board.
- Press the latch mechanism down flush with the expansion riser.
- Press the expansion riser latches down into the closed position.
- Tighten the securing knobs on the expansion riser by turning them clockwise.
- Install the plastic shield between the blue latch and the first PCIe slot.
- Replace the service access cover.
- Reconnect the power source to the system.
