To install the SAS Hard Disk Drive Backplane and Cable Assembly:

1. Position the board on the carrier, using the cutout on the board and the tab on the carrier for alignment, and press down until secured by the latches.
   
   Here is a closer look at the cutout on the board and a tab on the carrier.
   
   
2. Connect the Power SAS signal and configuration cables to the backplane.
   
   
3. Slide the backplane assembly into the chassis, using the pins for alignment, and press down until latched in place.
   
   
4. Position the cable assembly into the chassis, using the connectors for alignment, and press down until seated.
   
   
5. Press the hard disk drives into the server and rotate the drive handles to the closed position until latched in place, and press the fillers into the server until seated.
   
   
6. Install the Top Cover:
   
   
   1. With the cover release latch in the open position place the cover on top of the server so that the tabs on the cover align with the slots in the chassis.
      
      
   2. Slide the top cover forward while closing the release latch.
