To install a CD-RW/DVD Drive Cable:

1. Connect the cable to the system board and route in the chassis.
2. Insert the connector into the chassis using the cutouts for alignment and then slide the connector to the right until latched in place and press the locking tab to secure it..
3. Slide the drive into the bay until latched in place.
4. Install the Fan Bracket:
   Note that the air baffles have been removed to provide a better view.
   1. Using the holes in the bottom of the bracket and the pins in the chassis for alignment place the fan bracket in position and press down until the release levers click into place.
      Here is a closer look at an alignment pin in the chassis and a hole in the bracket.
5. Install the Fans:
   1. Place the fan into the fan assembly bracket using the connector and the vertical tabs on the fan for alignment, then press down on the fan until it is seated.
      Here is a closer look at the rails on the fan and the channels on the fan cage bracket.
   2. Use the same procedure to install any additional fans if required
6. Install the Top Cover:
   1. With the cover release latch in the open position place the cover over the chassis so that the tabs in the cover align with the slots in the chassis.
   2. Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
