Text from the audio portion of the Battery installation movie

To install the Battery:

  1. Place the battery into its housing and press until it snaps in place.
  2. Return the server to its normal operating position.
  3. Install the side Cover:
    1. Position the channel on the cover over the rail on the bottom edge of the chassis.
    2. Rotate the cover toward the chassis and then press down on the cover release latch and close the cover.
    3. Lock the side cover if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
