To remove the Fan Cage Assembly:

1. Remove the Side Cover:
   1. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
   2. Unlock the side cover if required
   3. Press the cover-release latch down while rotating the top edge of the cover away from the server and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
2. Remove the Hot-swap Power Supply:
   1. Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
   2. While pressing the release latch to the left, pull the power supply out of the bay.
   3. Use the same procedure to remove the second power supply if required.
3. Place the system on its right side. This is the recommended Service Position.
4. Remove the Air Baffle:
   1. Lift the power-supply cage handle and then rotate the power-supply cage assembly up until latched in the service position.
   2. Press the air baffle release latch and then lift the air baffle from the server.
5. Remove the Fan Cage Assembly:
   1. Press the fan cage release latches toward the sides of the server. The fan cage will lift up slightly when the release latches are fully open.
   2. Grasp the assembly and lift it out of the server.
