Text from the audio portion of the tape drive installation movie
To install a tape drive:
- Position the drive in the bay far enough to connect the cables.
- Connect the signal and power cables to the rear of the drive.
- Seat the drive in the bay and rotate the handle to the locked position.
Install the top cover:
- With the cover release latch in the open position place the cover over the chassis so that the tabs in the cover align with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
Here is a closer look at a tab on the cover and a slot in the side of the chassis.
