Text from the audio portion of the SAS HDD backplane installation movie

To install the SAS HDD backplane:

1. Connect the sas data, power and configuration cables.
2. Lower the backplane into the chassis using the slot in the chassis and the tabs on top of the hard disk drive cage for alignment.
3. Rotate the top of the backplane towards the front until it latches in place
4. Push the hard disk drives into the bays until seated and rotate the handle to the closed position.

Here is a closer look at the slot in the bottom of the hard drive cage.

Install the top cover:

1. With the cover release latch in the open position place the cover over the chassis so that the tabs in the cover align with the slots in the chassis.
2. Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
