Text from the audio portion of the DIMM installation movie
To install a DIMM:
- Ensure that the retention latches are in the open position.
- Insert the DIMM straight into the slot, pressing down on both corners at the same time until secured by the latches.
Use the same procedure to install any additional DIMMs if required.
Install the DIMM air baffle:
- Align the DIMM air baffle over the DIMMs so that the pin on the left side of the air baffle aligns with the hole in the system board, and lower the baffle into the server.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover on top of the server using alignment pins on the cover and slots in the chassis for alignment.
- Slide the cover toward the front of the server until it latches in place.
