Abstract
Adapter retention brackets installation movie for the IBM System x3500.
Content
To install the Adapter retention brackets:
- Engage one hinge pin of the Front adapter-retention bracket in the hole in the chassis, then flex the bracket to engage the other pin.
- Rotate the bracket down until secured by the latches.
- Position the rear adapter retention bracket hinge pins between the tabs on the chassis. Then press to the rear until both pins are seated in the holes.

Install the Left-side Cover:
- Position the channel on the cover over the rail on the bottom edge of the chassis.
- Rotate the cover closed, ensuring the latch secures it in place.
- Lock the side cover, if required.
