Abstract
Hot-swap fan installation movie for the IBM System x3500.
Content
To install a Hot-swap fan:
- Open the fan-locking handle on the replacement fan.
- Lower the fan into the socket and close the handle to the locked position.
Install the Left-side cover:
- Position the channel on the cover over the rail on the bottom edge of the chassis.
- Rotate the cover closed, ensuring the latch secures it in place.
- Lock the side cover, if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
