Abstract
Hot-swap fan removal movie for the IBM System x3500.

To remove a Hot-swap fan:
Remove the Left-side Cover:
- Unlock the side cover and press the cover release latch down while rotating the top edge of the cover away from the server. Then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove a Hot-swap Fan:
- Open the fan locking handle by sliding the orange release latch in the direction of the arrow.
- Pull upward on the free end of the handle to lift the fan out of the server.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
